Seacapes

Seascapes are really relaxing. The cool thing about water is that it never looks the same twice.

Green

My most recent figure painting. Her skin turned out really well.

Red Hed

Sometimes when you paint, you see colors you've never seen before. I like experimenting with those new colors.

Red

I'm not sure if she was sun-burnt, or the lighting was that way, but I really like the redness of her chest.

Flipped

This was done in a day. Sometimes it's best to do things quickly rather than plan them out.

Hat

This portrait shows more of my process. I like to test the colors out on the canvas before I apply it to the figure, then I mix those colors into the background.

Fade Away Girl

This is one of my favorite portraits I've done so far. I focused on the most important thing; the face. The rest is left unfinished.

Atmospheric

In this portait, I mixed her skin tone with the background color. Some people mentioned it looked very atmospheric, which I'm trying to do with the rest of my paintings.

Andrea

A portrait of my friend, Andrea. Her scarf was really fun to paint! I need to do more figures with a background, especially outside.
